About the work
• Mundial #2 is the third in a limited series of documents that picks up where Scott Mendes left off.
• What is Scott Mendes? It's a long story (if you look into Darren Bader + Venice Biennale, you may be able to glean some information).
• Presently put, in our world(s) of endless information/contradictions the artist readily leans on Surrealismic methods re our "Bodies Without Local Organs" (which should not be confused with the conjoined appendages that populate Mundial #2).
• Ikeally, Mundial #2 may or may not be out of place. (Distinct cosmoi not always given to fusion.)
• Yet under the sun, we are one, and why can this often feel like punishment (against our better wishes)?
• And so the stories go...
